Pujya Sadhvi Ritambhara ji popularly known as Didi Maa is a very prominent Spiritual leader. She has great respect for Indian culture and preaches Hinduism. Sadhvi Ritambhara is the founder of Vatsalya Gram, a women's and children's village in India. The village is home to abandoned women and children who are put in to families with the goal of providing them with a loving and nurturing environment for progress. She also has worked towards women rights. Sadhvi Ritambhara thus is a Didi (an elder sister) as well as Maa (a mother) to the people. Her motherly affection has touched millions of hearts. As she believes every soul is a divine creation be it rich or poor and they have to fulfill the divine mission. Didi Maa Sadhvi Ritambhra is an eminent spiritualist, a great orator and patriot, a Sadhvi and also a Hindu political activist. She is a member  of the Vishav Hindu Prishad and Rastriya Swayam  Sewak  Sangh. She was the founding chair person of Durga Vahini (Army of Durga ).
Early life
Sadhvi Ritambhra was born as Nisha in Doraha town in Ludhiyana district, Punjab on 2nd January 1964 to really blessed parents father Shri Pyare Lal and mother Smt. Kalawati. At the age of sixteen when she was studding  in university, she is said to have attained Nirvanas, when her town, visited by yug Purush Maha Mandaleswar Swamy Parmanand Giri ji Maharaj. She became his disciple and followed him to his Ashram in Haridwar and in tour across India, while gaining lessons in oratory. She was conferred  the title of Sadhvi. She also spent a long time in meditation and yoga at the bank of river Betwa in Bundelkhand.
In her conferences  all over the world, thousands of people came to listen to her and she tells the masses to serve the mankind as it is the only way to serve the almighty God.
MAJOR WORKS
She is firm believer  of the thoughts of VASUDHAV KUTUMBHKAM apart from that, she has done a lot of work  in women empowerment. The most notable work of Didi Maa is VATSALYA GRAM,a village of maternal  love. She has developed a unique concept of family for abandoned children, destitute women and old ladies. It is a fact that orphans and old age homes don’t give proper attention to the problems of such people. Her Param Shakti Peeth is trying to provide great moral values to such kids through it’s initiatives Vatsalya  Gram which is incorporated with all necessary infrastructure like residential complex, canteen, guest house, hospital and school. More than that she is now keeping herself busy in the tribal areas of the country for betterment of tribal through Vatsalya Gram named Vatsalya Ganga Abhiyan.
Moreover, polio operations  camps and many other health camps are organized regularly which brought smiles to the million of faces and  still number is increasing. Lokarpan of Samvid Gurukulam  in Omkareswar  in Madhya Pradesh  the dream of Didi Maa is to provided life of full dignity and happiness to every body. In the coming years the concept of Vatsalya Gram as seen in Varindavan will be replicated in several places in India, so that children can have a brighter future.
